April 2008 AKIO is delighted to announce the signature of a major contract with SNCF. The latest communication trends among travellers indicating a strong preference for the "high technology" media have led SNCF to rethink its organisation regarding incoming contacts management. After considering several solutions on the market, SNCF has eventually chosen AKIO solutions in early 2008 to manage its incoming email and mail flows. The AKIO software suite will be fully integrated with Siebel CRM in order to provide the customer services agents with a 360° view over every single SNCF customer. Business & Decision, a Siebel specialist, is in charge of the integration process along with Accenture. Three hundred AKIO positions will be implemented in the long term in order to deal with all the flows managed by the carrier's Claims and Customer Loyalty departments. The whole solution should be operational by the end of the year.
